Chili Supper Duties
Job descriptions
Our annual Chili Supper is one of our troops
biggest fund-raisers. Each year, from kick-off in December, to
the Supper in mid-February , our troop sells tickets to this all-you-can-eat
event that is held around, and sometimes on, Valentines Day.
Chairperson:
- Supervise all areas of the event.
- Get people to help set up immediately after school/work.
The Supper starts at 5:30, and the food, tables, all the stations
need to be set up and ready to go. Scouts also need to be taught/drilled
on their assignments.
Tickets:
- Distribute tickets to Scouts and Scouters.
- Collect money from ticket sales.
- Sell tickets at the door of the Chili Supper.
Food:
- Contacts Businesses for food donations, and collects said
donations.
Desserts:
- Supervise the Dessert Table crew.
- Contacts all families about bringing 2 desserts.
Cooks:
- Cook, and serve chili at the event.
Prizes:
- Solicits prizes from a variety of Businesses.
