Junior Assistant Scoutmaster
Job Description

   When you accept the position of Junior Assistant Scoutmaster you agree to provide service in your troop. This responsibility should be fun and rewarding. This job description provides some of the things you are expected to do while serving as a junior leader.

Responsible to: SPL.
Term of office: 6 months.
Position type: Appointed (by the Scoutmaster).
JLT Training: Yes.
Other: -Eagle Scout.
          -16 years old.

Duties for the Junior Assistant Scoutmaster:

  1. Function as an Assistant Scoutmaster (except for leadership responsibilities reserved for adults 18 and 21 years of age or older.
  2. Accomplish any duties assigned by the Scoutmaster.
  3. Set a good example.
  4. Wear the uniform correctly.
  5. Live by the Scout Oath and Law.
