OA Troop Representative Adviser
Job Description

Duties for the OA Troop Representative Adviser:

  1. Advise OA Troop Representative in his duties to the troop.
  2. Serve as a communication link between the lodge or chapter and the troop.
  3. Encourage year round and resident camping in the troop.
  4. Encourage older Scout participation in high adventure programs.
  5. Encourage Scouts to actively participate in community service projects.
  6. Assist with leadership skills training in the troop.
  7. Encourage Arrowmen to assume leadership positions in the troop.
  8. Encourage Arrowmen in the troop to be active participants in the lodge and/or chapter activities and to seal their membership in the Order by becoming Brotherhood members.
  9. Report to the Troop Committee at all meetings.

   Note: As with other OA Advisors, the Troop Representative Adviser is to be at least 21 years old. For those Arrowmen who are 18-20, the only position in this area, is the Lodge/Chapter Troop Representative Chair.
